From “The Whisky Union”?
It’s Diageo’s Weird and Wonderful Series.
This is not whisky:
1. Less than 40% ABV
2. More than water, yeast and grain: hop infused.
Pete Brewin, the man who invented Boxing Hares combined Scotch whisky with the specially selected hops used in craft beers to see what happened.
The result is a Spirit Drink with a winning combination of the distinctive, creamy sweet character of Scotch Whisky and the refreshing taste of Hops.
The hops deliver the intriguing taste of tropical fruits and citrus green notes, which pair remarkably well with the sweet honey taste of the Scotch Grain Whisky.
The outcome is a flavour alive with hops, malt, toffee, pineapple and cherry with an imperceptibly bitter hop finish.
